Tau Cross – Tuscan Olive Wood

The Tau cross is one of the oldest and most beloved symbols of the Franciscan tradition and carved from Tuscan olive wood, it carries a depth of meaning that few objects can match.

Available as a small 3 cm necklace pendant, a medium wall cross at 15 × 11.5 cm, and a large wall cross at 20 × 15.5 cm, each piece is shaped and finished by hand in our Cortona workshop. The olive wood is warm and smooth, its golden grain unique to every cross a reminder that no two are alike, just as no two journeys of faith are the same.
